God

We believe in one God who exists in three persons, God the father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit. He is an infinite, all knowing and all-powerful God.

(Gen. 1:26-27, Duet.6:4, Philip 2:6, Acts 5:3-4, Col 2:9.)

Jesus

We believe Jesus is the Son of God, who embodies the fullness of God for eternity. He came to live among us a sinless life and became a sacrifice for our sins. In putting our trust in the work of salvation He accomplished on the cross and we received eternal life with God. We believe trusting in Jesus as our redeemer is the only way to eternal fellowship with God and not good works of ours.

Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is given to every follower of Christ. He is our help in being convicted of sin and recognizing our need for a savior. He helps believers grow in Christ-likeness. The help of the Holy Spirit is the only way we can live a life that glorifies God on earth. He helps us to have the fruit of the Spirit in our daily Christian lives so we can live a godly life. He also empowers us with various gifts of the spirit to do the works of salvation and reconciliation between man and God. He is our help now on earth.

The Bible

It is the inerrant, infallible Word of God. We believe the Bible is the foundation to our faith and way of life.

Church

We believe the Church is not a building. The Church is the body of Christ for which He died on the cross. The Church is a collection of believers empowered by God’s word and his spirit to do the good work of expanding the kingdom of God.

The End

In the end Jesus will return to earth to reign and judge over all who live and lived in it according to the teachings of the bible. He will come to receive his own into eternal fellowship with God and those who don’t believe will be condemned to live in separation from God for eternity.

Mission

We believe Jesus has given us the great commission to ‘Go’ and the Church of Christ must be compelled to go into all the world. In doing so, we bring God’s love to our community; we proclaim the goodness of God and compel others to come to fellowship with God found in faith through Jesus Christ.

ኢየሱስ

ኢየሱስ የእግዚአብሔር ልጅ እንደሆነ እናምናለን። ኃጢያት የሌለበት  ዘላለማዊ ሙላት በመያዝ በመሀከላችን ለማደር ከእግዚአብሔር ዘንድ የተላከ ስለኃጢያታችን መሰዋዕት የሆነ አምላክ ነው። መስቀል ላይ በተፈፀመ የደህንነት ስራ በማመን የእግዚአብሔርን የዘላለም ህይወት ተቀብለናል። ለዘላለም የተቤዠን ኢየሱስ እንጅ የእኛ መልካም ሥራ አይደለም። ማቴዎስ 1:23፣ ዮሐንስ 1:1-3፣ ዮሐንስ 3:16፣ ፊልጵስዮስ 2: 6-11፣ ቆላሲያስ 2:9፣ 1 ቆሮንቶስ 1: 18፣ ኤፌሶን 2:8

መንፈስ ቅዱስ

ኢየሱስን የሚከተል አማኝ ሁሉ መንፈስ ቅዱስ እንደሚቀበል እናምናለን። ኃጢአተኝነታችንን በመውቀስ አዳኝ እንደሚያስፈልገን የሚያስገነዝበንና ኢየሱስን በመምሰል ለማደግ የሚረዳንና  እግዚአብሔርን በምድር አክብረን ለመኖር መንፈስ ቅዱስ ብቸኛ ረዳት እንደሆነ እናምናለን። በዕለት ተለት የክርስትና ህይወት ላይ  የመንፈስ ቅዱስን ፍሬዎችን ለመግለጽ ይረዳናል። ስለዚህ የእግዚአብሔርን ህይወት በመኖር በእግዚአብሔርና በሰዎች መሀከል የደህንነትና የማስታረቅ ስራ በመስራት በልዩ ልዩ የመንፈስ ቅዱስ ስጦታዎች ሀይል ያሰታጥቀናል። አሁን በምድር ላይ ረዳታችን መንፈስ ቅዱስ ነው። ዮሐንስ 14:26፣ ዮሐንስ 16: 7-8፣ ሐዋሪያት ሥራ 5: 3-5፣ 1ቆሮንቶስ 12:11

መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ

እንከን አልባና የማይወድቅ የእግዚአብሔር ቃል ነው። መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ለአምነታችን መሰራትና ለሕይወታችን መንገድ መሠረት አንደሆነ እናምናለን። 2 ጢሞቴዎስ 3:16-17

ቤተክርስቲያን

ቤተ ከርስቲያን ህንፃ እንዳልሆነ እናምናለን። ቤተ ክርስቲያን ኢየሱስ መስቀል ላይ የሞተላት አካል ነች። ቤተ ክርስቲያን በቃሉና በመንፈሱ ሀይል ተሞልተው መልካሙን  የእግዚአብሔርን መንግስት  ለመስራት የተሰበሰቡ አማኞች ናቸው። 1 ቆሮንቶስ 12:27፣ ኤፌሶን 4:12

የመጨረሻው ዘመን

እንደ መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ አስተምሮት በመጨረሻው ዘመን ኢየሱስ ተመልሶ እንደሚመጣና በቅዱሳን ላይ እንደሚነግስና እንደሚገዛ እንምናለን። የራሱ የሆኑት በዘላለም ህይወት ከእግዚአብሔር ጋር  ህብረት እንዲያደርጉ ይቀበላቸዋል። የማያምኑት ለዘላለም ከእግዚአብሔር ተለይተው በእርግማን ይኖራሉ። 2 ጢሞቴዎስ 4:1፣ ራዕይ 19: 11-16፣ ራዕይ  21: 1-4

ተልዕኮ

ኢየሱስ ታላቁን ተልዕኮ ለቤተ ክርስቲያን አንደሰጣት እናምናለን። የክርስቶስ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ወደ ዓለም ሁሉ በመሄድ የእግዚአብሔርን ፍቅርና መልካምነት ለህብረተሰቡ በማወጅ ሌሎች ክርስቶስን በማመን ከእግዚአብሔር ጋር ህብረት እንዲያደርጉ የመስበክ ግዴታ አለባት። ማቴዎስ 28: 18-20፣ ሐዋሪያት ሥራ 1:8፣ 2 ጢሞቴዎስ 4:2
